Theodor Seuss Geisel Pulitzer Prize-winning Author and Illustrator of Children's Book
There are probably few children and grown-ups who haven't read at least one of the imaginative works of Theodor Geisel. The children's books of Dr. Seuss, such as the Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who and Green Eggs and Ham have become classics for teaching children how to read with fun and with humor.
In 1966 the original cartoon version of "How the Grinch Stole Chrismas" was broadcast. When I was in the 7th grade our school put on a version of the Grinch as a holiday play. Now more than 40 years later, the Grinch is become a holiday staple, one that I share with my daughters.
