Dodge Challenger - The Upscale Hemi Muscle Car
As with its cousin, the Plymouth Barracuda, the Challengers that is most-desired by collectors today are those with the 426 Hemi V8 engine. These cars with that engine were expensive when new, and very few were purchased at the time. That's part of the reason they are among the most expensive collector muscle cars today.
The Dodge Challenger was featured in the hit movie Vanishing Point, one of the great car movies of all-time.
