So what do you think?
Impossible Cure:
The Promise of Homeopathy
What is Homeopathy?
What does it entail?
Homeopathy (also spelled Homoeopathy ) is a form of alternative medicine, first proposed by German physician Samuel Hahnemann in 1796, that attempts to treat patients with heavily diluted preparations which are thought to cause effects similar to the symptoms presented. Homeopathic remedies are prepared by serial dilution with shaking by forceful striking, which homeopaths term "succession," after each dilution under the assumption that this increases the effect of the treatment. Homeopaths call this process "potentization". Dilution often continues until none of the original substance remains..

Is it just the placebo effect?
Mind over matter?
The effectiveness of homeopathic remedies is a well-debated one in the background. But can it or does it really work?
Or, is it more likely that people believe so much that it can work that their health actually improves, lending even more weight to their belief that Homeopathic remedies can and do work?
Is it wrong if this is the case? Should we deny these people the belief that this natural treatment works or is it just another way of leeching money from vulnerable people?
After all, there is no proof either way that God does or doesn't exist and yet many people are divided in their beliefs. Is this any different? What do you think?
What have YOUR experiences been with regards to Homeopathic remedies?
Have you tried them?
Have they worked?

Do they work?
I believe, in some people, homeopathic remedies can or may work. Am I right?

Evidence of homeopathy is undeniably positive and consistent. It's a human evidence of experience, gathered from a real-world observation in a real-world setting (not in an ideal artificial laboratory) giving real-world solutions.

I have used homeopathic remedies and given them to my children. I find them very effective. However, the homeopathic remedies available "over-the-counter" I have found to be less effective, particularly the multiple-remedy complexes such as teething complexes. A single remedy exactly suited to the individual I have found to be very effective.

Not is SOME people, but in ALL of them! It's just that too many people still refuse to accept basics about how simple and logical ways of homeopathy actually are. But then again, it's so much easier to just pick one of so many over the counter "cures", believing that pharmaceutical industry knows what's best for us. How sad.

The theory behind Homeopathy
Cure like with like?
The developer of Homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann concluded that patients that suffered with a rash would often be cured after contracting measles, a disease with similar symptoms.
This led him to believe that one condition could be replaced by another of similar disposition. In theory homeopathic remedies are supposed to induce in the body the condition of which it suffers from and so replacing the original disease.
'Hahnemann devised 'natural laws' as the basis on which homeopathy is founded:'

Homeopathy
The Facts
The industry is worth £40million in the UK, and around 400million Euros in both France and Germany.
It can prove dangerous in an indirect way. Those who believe in the power of homeopathy tend to shy away from conventional treatments. Parents are least likely to get their child vaccinated thereby increasing the risks of serious illnesses returning.
It may prove dangerous when this form of treatment replaces that of conventional medicine.
