I think that they can in many cases and that homeopathic remedies are useful for a variety of ailments. Hanna Kroeger created her own line of homeopathic remedies that she called vibropathics. These remedies have been popular internationally and help to bring healing.
I understand the concern people have about a "placebo" pill and how the mind can control the situation but the frequencies and Law of Similars proves that there is something more there than just using your mind to help yourself feel better. http://www.hannakroeger.com/2012/03/09/what-is-homeopathy/

I believe in Homeopathy. I have seen it work but I have no idea how it works. My daughter developed serious exzema on her face after having her MMR vaccination. None of my other kids had the MMR (they had single jabs) and she was the only one to get exzema. A Doctor from the Homeopathic Hospital in London used to do surgeries at our local Doctors and it was she who managed to find the cure.

More recently I went to a Homeopathic Doctor who treated my asthma and cured it. For years I had suffered badly, particularly in the summer. She used a remedy based on extracts from the Lobelia flower. I have not used inhalers for around 6 years now.

Great debate on homeopathy. Makes me want to learn more. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. You'll find a little angel dust here.
