Tornado Fuel Saver Test
Consumer Reports
Fellow driver,
I went to fill up my car up yesterday and almost hit the pump. I'm now paying in excess of $300 per month just so I can drive to work. I find myself spending more weekends on the couch...not to mention vacations.
It wasn't long ago I turned on the TV and saw an infomercial on the Tornado Fuel Saver. I thought to myself yeah right until they announced it was fully EPA tested and approved.
I pulled out my calculator and punched in the numbers. I figured even if I caught the low end of the 7-24% fuel cost reduction I'd still be saving a couple hundred each year.
I picked up the phone and announced, "Place my order!"
Before it arrived, I decided to test Tornado Fuel Saver. Since I take the highway to work everyday, it was pretty easy to keep a consistent speed. I went through two tanks of gas and averaged the mileage at 24 MPG.
The Tornado Fuel Saver arrived a day later and I drove straight to a respectable mechanic to have it installed.
I had him read the manual twice!
The installation process was fairly quick and I then I roared off, driving like a rock star. I went straight to the gas station and filled up my tank, so I could calculate my savings.
For the next two fills I drove the same routes at my normal speed. I wrote down the mileages and averaged them out...
Just under 23 MPG!
I felt incredibly stupid, especially since I had invested $30 in a mechanic. I gave up on the whole ordeal and had the Tornado Fuel Saver removed within a week.
A couple months later I saw the clip below on Fox News. I haven't tried it out, but it looks interesting.

Does the tornado fuel saver work? Well, it sure didn't work for me...
In fact, I just noticed on the "As Seen On TV" website that they are currently not offering the product, so these other merchants are probably selling ripoff versions.
You might want to look into this fuel saving method because you don't have to wait for any parts and the customer feedback is pretty good.
