Hairstyles Of the Cute and Furry
As a life long owner of longhaired dogs I have spent thousands, maybe even millions of hours working with dog hair. Washing, brushing, conditioning, detangling, de-matting, trimming, vacuuming and sweeping it, but I can't even imagine how much extra time must devoted to creating and maintaining these fancy, outlandish, and sometimes just plain odd hairstyles!
I applaud the creativity and patience of the people that created these hairstyles, mostly I applaud the patience of the dogs that were being styled!
Some of the Dogdo's are unusual yet natural to the breed of dog, while others are just so wild you have to see it to believe it. I laughed myself silly when I first saw these pictures so get ready to be entertained!

- After growing up with poodles and having a Bichon and two Old English Sheep Dogs, I now opt for short hair outdoor dogs. I love them but I don't have to mess with them much. This is a wonderful lens on the silly ness of people messing around with animal fur.

- Wow! I have seen the expensive stripe grooming to make your dog look like a tiger and the cuts to make them look like lions, but some of these are new for me. The little dog labeled pink polka dots, well, all I can say is really? I shutter at the thought of the cost even if they are adorable. I am so in the wrong business with Squidoo. I just need some hair dye, sissors and a newspaper :)

- I have a Bichon and a Yorkie so they both need a fair amount of grooming. But I don't do anything fancy. Just keep the tangles gone and trim the hair. Let them be dogs for heaven's sake! Hilarious lens! the captcha is "gigalaugh"

- When I was very young dying Poodles was all the rage. A purple Standard Poodle came through our yard and I have been stuck with that image in my head my entire life :) LOL These are adorable but oh, those poor babies!
