Clean up after your dog the easy way
Are you looking for the trendiest dog poop bags and pooper scoopers? Or are you just Fed up with finding poop bags, stuffed in pockets, in the washing machine, or worse just can't find them when you are about to take the dog for a walk.
With a hyper dog excitedly waiting at the door, desperately trying to find poop bags, you end up frustrated, the dogs barking and the leisurely walk you envisaged on a glorious day gets off to the worst start possible, you are harassed before you even leave the house.
As an owner of a Douge de Bordeaux and a Bull Mastiff, and now a little bulldog Puppy all dogs were adopted, so already had their own established routines of doing the loo! I really have my hands full but I have found the perfect solution to ensuring the disposal of my dogs poop is not a problem!

National Pooper Scooper Week
I am not kidding a whole week dedicated to picking up dog poo!
When someone actually told me Scotland had its very own pooper scooper week! Monday 25th July - Sunday 31st July. I just had to go and find outwhat this was about.Basically the message is to highlight that people must be more responsible and pick up after their dogs.
They suggest
1. GRAB IT - Always keep a supply of bags near your dog's lead so you don't forget to take them with you on every walk. Simply insert your hand in the bag and pick up your dog's waste.
2. BAG IT - Carefully turn the bag inside out to "bag" your dog's mess.
3. BIN IT - Dispose of the bag in a bin. Dog waste can be put in a public litter bin if a specific dog waste bin is not provided.

....how do you get rid of Dog poop?
The smell is most unpleasant, and carries lots of dangers from harmful bacteria and viruses, to the flies it attracts.
We have special bins provided by our local council to put our bagged poo in, and can receive a fine if we do not dispose of our doggie waste properly.
So we can combat the unpleasant job of picking it up and hassle of not finding any poo bags, all in one go.

- Years back, we got a german Shepherd. The first winter, she used the backyard, and we had a huge surprise as the snow melted leaving behind the treasures and pools of brown water. From then on, it was a pooper scooper - and always done diligently. It is worth it!
