This can obviously jolt you out of a very deep sleep and even alarm you. Of course, you realize your dog just wants to sleep near you, but the pounce is just too much many times.
Having dog steps can certainly lessen this pouncing in the middle of the night because the dog will simply walk up the steps to the edge of the bed and then simply water onto the bed, creating simply doggy steps rather than a giant pounce.
