If you want your dog to listen to you, you have to be connected to your dog and understand his body language. Successful dog training start with you.


Four Keys to Successfully Train Your Dog

1 - Find a dog trainer and materials you feel comfortable with.
2 - Understand that the dog trainer is only going to provide you with tools, you have to be prepared to spend the time training your dog.
3- The training process have to be fun and exciting. You are going to learn a lot about your dog and yourself.
4 - Keep your training session short (10 to 15 minutes), have a lot of yummy treats available or/and favorite toy and always finish with some play time.

You will find a lot of training manuals, books, ebooks, videos and audios available online. Training your dog from home is a great way to learn the basics and understand your dog better.

Often we take the whole dog training thing a little to seriously and forget that dogs are in our life to help us see the brighter side of life. They have a great sens of humor and love to play.

This does not mean to take dog training lightly. On the contrary a dog well trained is a free dog and a pleasure to have around.

Before we get on with training we need to connect with our dog and have fun together. Often missed this step is important in dog training
