    One problem I still have with my nearly two year old mixed breed Cookie, is his behavior around other people. Looks like lots of information I can probably use to advantage. Thanks!

    I was sorry to hear about your old girl, Tonya. Beagle hounds are tough cookies, I know, but you sure honed your dog whispering skills on her. Amazing, I heard you even got her to stay in an unfenced yard. Unheard of for a Beagle! YOU are amazing. Thanks for all your help.

    hi. i am so thankful i don't have behavior problems with my Japanese Spitz. But i think it's mostly because of dog whisper (just didn't know there is such a thing until i read your lense). Chipo, my spitz, would look at me and i think dogs in general have this intelligence that don't require words. They understand us and that is why we consider dogs as our best friend. It's because it is a connection beyond words. :)
    Love your lense.
    Just hope maybe anyone visiting your lense could share some information on holistic dog food. I'm concerned about dog food recalls. Maybe you can share your knowledge about it. :)

    This lens is a good information for dog lover. Being a Dog wishper can communicate with dog easily so that it would be easier to train dog by ourself. Regarding training a dog, I have a good site about the importance of dog training. It is useful and boarden dog lover's knowledge.

    Wow, what an informative lens. It is really well put together. I too agree that dog health is important, and what you feed your dog makes all the difference in the world. I think that a bad diet can be a contributor to some of the problems dogs face health wise. Again, great lens!

    Hi Rena,

    You have some excellent tips that deal with issues I've struggled with in my dogs. One dog in particular really liked eating poop. Disgusting, as you say. Plus you make some valid points about the dangers. Fortunately, it's not really dangerous to the dog, according to my vet. Someone suggested putting pepper on the poop so that he wouldn't want to eat it, but that's not always easy to do. And it doesn't always work.

    My dog was from a puppy mill and pound - runt of the litter and I'm sure he ate poop because he had no choice if he wanted to stay alive. I noticed a significant improvement in his behavior when I told him he was bad, called him away and fed him a yummy treat. I felt this would help him realize there are much more tasty foods available for him.

    It helped, but it didn't cure. Thanks to your advice, I'll have other tactics to use with any future dogs.
