This is a helpful lens, like me who have Dog pets. I will try this one for my Pitbull, i think he has an arthritis for age reason though.

    Nice Lens,

Wonderful, 5 star lens. Great information and very nicely presented, too. I am amazed and happy that acupuncture works so well for puppies in pain!

Great information! There is another association in the UK that lists certified veterinary surgeons specializing in acupuncture: http://www. abva.co.uk
    Thanks for all this info.

It may be the route we have to go with one of our dogs. She was born with a disconnected joint in her leg. After 3 major surgeries it was finally successful. She runs with a limp now and if she runs too much I can tell that she is in much pain. She is just nuts for playing ball and I feel so sorry that we have to keep her activity to a minimum. Will try to find a veterinarian who does acupuncture. Hopefully that will help our "Miss Twiggie." 5 stars, favorite, fan & lensroll.

Wonderful lens 5 stars! I had an acupuncture treatment for a dog that had cancer...it seemed to help his pain. My daughter got a sick dog from the shelter and he had a treatment to strengthen his immune system...it worked great! Please take a look at my lenses Animal Reiki-Healing Your Pet Naturally and EFT For the Health and Wellbeing of Your Pet.

I really learned a lot here, I had no clue they do acupunture on dogs now! I think I would have to try it on myself first, and see if I actually thought it helped before I would allow my pom to have it though. Thanks for sharing, Linda

I have a feeling that our Jonsey is going to need to start some treatments soon too. He had a congenital knee defect that was surgically repaired when he was about 6 months old. Now he's almost 10 and the effects are apparent.

Excellent lense. We have a golden retriever who is 9 years old, and arthritis is starting to kick in. We started w. cosequin (hope I spelled that right) which is working. But if it gets worst, I will definitely try this. Very nice!

I'm going to have to see if I can find someone around here. My dog freaks out over everything and pukes almost daily. I love her dearly but it's getting annoying to go clean up messes. :/

If I thought it would help my pet, I would probably try it. It would make me less uneasy that surgery I suppose.

My dog had acupuncture treatments for his disc issues. Seemed to help a little. He had no problems with the needles.

I'm going to show this page to my neighbor. Her Beagle has digestive difficulties and could benefit from acupuncture greatly.

I am a firm believer in acupuncture for people (had my TMJ treated and after 10 years of 24/7 pain it vanished in 24 hours!), so it makes sense that it would work on all creatures. You just need to find someone who understands the nerve pathways in animals of course :)

I'm not sure what my dog would think of acupuncture. He's pretty nervous about being poked.
