Is Your Worst Dog Behavior Problem that of Axe, Skye, Willie, or Hollie?
Your Dog Behavior Problems? - Are you plagued by the Bad Dog Behaviors Above?
Dog Behavior Problems - Is one of these among the bad dog behaviors that plague your household and spoil your enjoyment of your dog?
How to Correct this Bad Dog Behavior? - Axe and Holly - Dog Body Language in Motion
Here's a real-life dog behavior problem presented by a client: Dog Behavior Problems - What to do when Aggressive Dog Axe and Hyper Dog Holly are together?
Hyper Holly behaves by herself but becomes an even worse lunging demon than Axe when they are together and he lunges.
It's gotten so out of control that you have to take two separate walks. Is there any way to resolve this impossible situation?
Yes - First, walk Aggressive Dog Axe alone for a little while until you gain control of him and he respects you a little more. Learn his dog body language.
Pay attention to the signals he gives. When his ears perk forward, that means he is going to lunge. When he lunges, give a firm pull up on the leash to snap him out of it, turn him around, and sit his rear down -- which means he is surrendering to the situation.
When you feel confident enough to walk Axe and Holly together, remember always to get the dominant dog (Axe) under control first. Holly will follow quickly. She's just a follower.

Our 2 year old, male Daisy Dog, Mojo, has been succesfully housetrained for quite some time. All of a sudden he has decided to urinate and defacate in the house. Once even on my 6 year old's bed! We put him outside at regular intervals, but he doesn't go until he comes inside.
We show him a lot of attention - walks, rides, family outings and plenty of playtime. When we do go away for the weekend, we leave him with other family members whom he adores. He doesn't exhibit this behavior at their house. This has been going on for about a month now. Nothing has changed in our household. I'm so frustrated. We really love the dog, but can't tolerate this behavior much longer.
Suggestions?

i'm really at my wits end, i have an eight year old staffy, he was the most loving pup, but the past two years he turned into a monster, he will no longer let me put a lead on him which makes it impossiable for us to take him for walk as soon as he see the lead he uses it as a tug of war, he goes after plastic bottles, any thing thats on the arm of the settee e.g mobile phones, cigerette lighters, when you ask him to drop he growls, and he has bitten my partner a couple of times, and has lunged at my grown up children but up to now not bitten them, then he can become the most loviable dog again, people keep saying we should have put to sleep before he really hurts somebody, but i want to try everything and anything before it comes to that.

Yep - I'm one of those people who needs special help from Rena. We have a little Jack Russell-X taking over our house because we're at that old age where everything she does is cute and I just know it is not really cute. She does everything that I never liked in other peoples dogs. And I now it's not her fault. But she's just so cute.
