Natural Herbal Medicines For Dog Diarrhea and Dog Constipation

Dog diarrhea is not a disease; rather, it is a symptom of many different diseases. How serious is dog diarrhea? Dog diarrhea is a very serious symptom if it is accompanied with vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, high fever, lethargy, and a bloody or watery stool. X-Rays, Blood Tests, Stool Cultures, and Biopsies can cut deeply into your bank account & conventional pet meds may have harmful side effects. Natural Herbal Medicines for Dog Diarrhea and Dog Constipation don't.

Anyone who has experienced constipation knows how painful it can be; wouldn't you imagine it is just as painful for a dog with constipation? I have to carefully watch what my 10 year old 'Zima' eats, as older dogs have the tendacy to become constipated. A safe medicine alternative may be necessary for a chronically constipated dog.

Dog Diarrhea Information

In young puppies and elderly dogs, dog diarrhea can result in dehydration very quickly.

Mild illnesses may become fatal if a dog diarrhea treatment is not begun early enough to prevent a severe fluid loss and nutrient loss.

Vets will search for the underlying cause of serious diarrhea in dogs with x-rays, blood tests, and stool cultures.

If the cause of dog diarrhea is not found those ways, vets will perform biopsies of the intestinal tract, or exploratory abdominal surgery.

Once the diagnosis is known, vets will treat dog diarrhea with drugs to control the motility of the intestinal tract, and another drug to relieve inflammation in the intestinal tract. Drugs with toxic and harmful side effects.

If your dog's diarrhea is not controlled with the drugs in 2-4 days, vets will put your dog on another drug, and perform more tests!

The Causes Of Dog Diarrhea

The cause of dog diarrhea can be a number of reasons, including:
Stomach or Intestinal viruses,
Intestinal parasites, (dog worms),
Dietary indiscretions (eating garbage),
Viral infection,
Bacterial infection,
A foreign object swallowed,
Fatal illnesses, (cancer),
Liver disease,
Kidney disease,
and even a change in diet

"I have had Toy Poms as pets ever since I was a little girl, and the one thing they regularly get is a runny tummy. I always have them thoroughly checked by my vet, and he can never find anything wrong. He eventually put it down to "nervous tension and stress". I came across RuniPoo Relief on the Internet and decided to try it. Well, last week I used it for the first time and what a difference it made. Bigsy improved so much quicker, and before I knew it she was back to her old self! Thank you for a fantastic product!" -Jenella Higgins

Dog Constipation

Dog constipation can lead to a build up of toxins, which can cause numerous health problems.

The causes of dog constipation are:
Incorrect or poor diet,
Dog worms,
Lack of exercise,
Advanced age,
Either too much OR too little fiber,
Indigestible bones,
A blockage of the intestinal tract,
and insufficient daily water amount.

Signs of constipation in dogs:
Straining to have a bowel movement with no result,
Abdominal discomfort,
Loss of Appetite,
Bloating,
Going for long periods between bowel movements,
Hard, impacted stools.

The sign of straining to have a bowel movement is also a symptom of a bladder infection.

The most common treatment for dog constipation is a change in diet. If that does not work, conventional vets will prescribe a laxative drug with harmful side effects, and perform an enema.

Hi Gary :)
Two of the most common causes of extreme bloating is constipation and dog worms. I'm not a veternarian tho, if your dogs problems don't stem from either of those causes, please take your doggie to a vet.

A pup once died in my arms because of diarrhea and it was during that time that I'm very naive and stupid about it! Now, I'm reading a lot of stuff to educate myself regarding dog health and this lens of yours have added one of the best information that I've read! Thanks for sharing!
