Dog Eat Dog Politics McCain vs Obama

I'm bugged, really bugged, and I'm not talking about fleas or ear mites! It all started when I heard about these really neat dog cookies called Political Dog Biscuits made by Capitol Dog Bakery... You guessed it - they come in red bags with little elephants and blue bags with little donkeys.

Mama laughed when she saw them and said she'd order one bag, but we'd have to vote to decide which to order.

Well... look here, my job is Head of Security for mom's business and I do admit to being conservative. Ruf! I've been a Republican for almost all of my 70 years (10 in human years). So, I voted for the Republican cookies. Besides, I'm really attracted to the red package. Same color as the bandanas I wear for special days. Do you watch Animal Planet? Ever seen those little baby elephants? Who could resist little elephant cookies?!

Now, I expected that Lucy would not agree. She thinks she's the queen of everything. She never agrees; she proclaims. It doesn't help that she likes blue. You've got it - she wants the blue bag with the donkeys. Now all she will say is "Remember Jonesy". Okay, Jonesy was our donkey. I loved Jonesy, but how can donkeys compete with little baby elephants?

The tie breaker is Jeffie. Yowl! he chaps my hide anyway and this is the final straw. He claims he's an Libertarian. Who cares, I say!

So then I think we should open the vote to cats. Skeeter is not much interested. I should've known. She claims she's an Independent and should not be forced to vote. Says she's never been a member of any pack before and not about to start now.
