What's in Dog food?

Dogs are not so unlike humans. Look at how unhealthy our society is today. We eat fast foods on a constant basis and in turn make ourselves sick. Every disease is on the rise. The more we pump our bodies full of unhealthy food the more we help contribute to our unhealthy bodies!

Dog diseases are no different. We pump our beloved animals full of unhealthy Dog food.

The official definition for "beef and bone meal" is...

"The rendered product from beef tissues, including bone, exclusive of any added blood, hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, stomach and rumen contents, except in such amounts as may occur unavoidably in good processing practices".

The deceptive part is that this does not mean that hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, stomach and other contents are not present in the dog food%u2026 it only means that none of the mentioned things can be ADDED to the mix.

In other words... dog food is allowed to contain these potentially harmful by-products when the entire cow carcasses (including all the above mentioned parts, but not the quality meat already removed for human consumption) is used in making dog food.

But it only means that the dog food manufacturer is not allowed to add only the blood, hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, and stomach and rumen contents of ADDITIONAL cows.

Some Dog food companies even go as far as putting roadkill and euthanized dogs and cats in Dog food!
