Trimming your dogs nails!
Ranked #2,278 in Pets & Animals, #59,118 overall
It's time for a nail trim!
Trimming your pups nails is very important. More important than you may think!
Uncared for nails can break at the quick and be very, very painful for us pups. And overgrown nails can cause a pup to walk unnaturally and can distort the foot, especially in a puppy, and cause lameness, pain and permanent deformity. They may curl into the foot or, in the case of the dew claw, into the leg. When your dog walks on a hard surface, you shouldn't hear the click of nails. If you do, it's time to trim.

- I have always wanted someone else to trim the nails. I'm too afraid I might hurt the dog. Wouldn't want to do that. Thanks!
