I've been knocked down, I've had my camera licked, and I've stepped in meadow muffins but I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon.
Welcome to the world of pet photography! Can you imagine going to work every day where you get to sit on the ground, play with puppies, and throw a tennis ball? Sometimes it take a little while for the little critters to settle down and quit "showing off" which makes it really fun to take their picture.
Hi! I am a pet photographer in Pensacola, Florida, and I absolutely love my job. I have photographed some of the coolest pets...from search and rescue dogs to 142 lb Great Pyrenees "puppies."
I shoot "on location" and I let my clients pick the place to do the pictures--either at the park, on the beach, or in their own backyard gardens. Read some of my tips below to make your next pet photo session a fun experience for you, the owner, and your new furry friend.
