Whenever i to my family's beach house, a dog named Maxy kept barking at 10:00 in the late evening. It is SO annoying. I could not get some sleep until somebody would calm it down. I have 3 cats: my black and white one wound follow me wherever i go. I say cats- but that doesnt mean i hate dogs.

Cats are better. Cats are just as loyal as dogs, as mine come to the door almost every time it opens, whether your leaving or coming in. They are also very playful and not as rowdy as dogs. Sometimes they even play fetch! Cats also can help with your mouse problem, while the dog just helps with the destruction of your garden.

whenever somebody is coming over to our house and they come through the gate my dog will bark at the door telling us somebody is coming (as there are lots of trees so we cant see the path) my cats on the other hand will run away if anybody comes over. My dog, Scruffy, also figured out how to knock on our door using the door knocker where as my cats just meow and meow even thought they have a cat flap. Whenever I come home from school my dog always runs up to me and licks my hands like it's the first time we've met in years. My cats will look at me run away.
