Fun lens, always interesting to look at history and retrace the family dogs of personalities, presidents, etc. Enjoyed reading it, thank you for sharing your insights.

This is fun and interesting! I like the idea of dogs in the White House. Anybody who loves a dog has to have good character.

I'd like to see the younger guy's dog be the presidential pooch. Great content, cheers Johann!

So America wants their new President to get a poodle? Well that's only following a well established tradition. Bush had a poodle and he was (and still is ) called Tony Blair - tee hee! We are not keen on poodles in this British household. We prefer real dogs as well as "real" Prime Ministers - give me a big, long haired German Shepherd any day! Love the Gerold Solomon quote.

Nice lens, we love our dogs! 5*s

interesting the yellow dog. The phrase "yellow dog democrat" comes from 50s and 60s saying amoungst working class people: "Id rather vote for a mangy old yellow dogbefore Id vote Republican.
