My Dog is Middle Age
Buddy Boy (Buddy for short) joined our family in August 2003. Born February 2, 2002, he had come from two broken homes and was serving time on death roll at our local Humane Society when he found us. He was not a social dog with his own kind. Buddy was kept in the back behind the glass; along with all the special needs animals.
I was busy nursing a sick ferret and had no idea that my family had been visiting Buddy. But when we all went to see him, I knew that he was our dog. We had to wait a couple more weeks from that day to take him home.

Sometime around March 26 2009, Buddy became 50 years old and middle age. Buddy would like to share some of his photos and captions.
I only have two captions for each picture. Please add your own captions to what Buddy is thinking! The more captions, the better. Have some fun with this. Let's all have a good laugh.

Just the Facts!
All dogs age 7 years for the first 3 years of their live. Once they become 21 (human years), small to medium dogs will age 3 to 5 years. Large dogs will age 7 years for each human year.
Most dogs brought into the Humane Society are mix breeds; occasionally a toss out, full breed dog will be brought there. We have actually seen quite a few at our local Humane Society, like Buddy.
Buddy turned 50 in March 2009. This is my 50th lens on June 16, 2009.
