Dog Whisperer

TV Series

While the dog whisperer TV program shows that ceaser Milan's methods work there are many people who disagree with his methods and ideas and believe that he could be doing long term damage to the dogs state of mind!

The dog whisperer Ceaser Milan disagrees whole heartedly and proves many times that his techniques produce a calm and happy dog and also removes unwanted behaviour in dogs, Which then allows them and the owner to live happily with one another without the associated behavioural problems.

The dog whisperer trains people as well as the dogs how to resolve these behavioural problems and in some extreme circumstances will even take the dog back with him to his dog center until he is satisfied that the dogs behavioural problems have gone

Ceaser Milan, The dog whisperer does certainly show that his techniques work in training the dog and also the owners. So whether you agree with him or not I do not think you can argue with the facts that his methods work for him.

Although I do think that he also has a lot of natural ability with dogs also, and that is why his methods work and also the reason why his methods seem so magical at times.

I watch the dog whisperer every week just to pick up a few hints and tips, which I need with my dog who seems to have boundless energy and who would run rings around you if you let her!

I do not find that everything works but I definitely think you can come away with one or two things that might just work if you have a disruptive dog.

hey ceaser i have some questions about my 6 year old poodle.his name is Levi ,he licks all the time ,the air, the floor, shoes, anything he goes by he licks.what can i do to stop this silly dog.thank you for your help and God bless

The first thing i need to clear up is that i am not ceaser milan! i made this lens because i am a fan of the show. There are many methods that could be used to try and stop Levi from this constant need to lick. But every method will require that you are consistent in your approach. One method you could try is to get an empty water bottle and then fill it with small stones, like gravel. Then every time you see Levi start licking shake the bottle so that it makes a loud harsh noise and then say No!.This will distract Levi from licking because it will be surprised by the noise. You will then repeat that for every single time that he licks.Hopefully if you stick to it you will then only have to say No instead of using the shaker. Give that a solid try and see how it goes:)

ceaser, my husband is a canine handler for a police dept. do you ever work with these dogs and if so do you know of anyway to get the dog to come off the sleeve?

I love the show and watch as often as I can. I wish however I could get my dog on the show. She is a 5 1/2 yr. old English Springer Spanial with aggression issues toward my wife and I. She gets along with other dogs and is not the pack leader with them. She has bitten me several times for just cleaning her eyes. She is aggressive if she gets on the bed or couch. I admit we do not walk her like we should, both of us have back issues. We have a small yard to run in but she won't stay out there alone. I do exercise her on a treadmill but probably not often enough. A few months ago we got a 1 yr. old poodle-pomeranian mix female, we thought it would help. The pom-poo seems to be the pack leader. We have had the spanial checked physically and she is fine. I hate to give up the spanial . HELP.

Ceaser Milan and his show are great and I'm sure thousands of people have learned how to become pack leaders, and I hope his show is around for a long time.

What do I do now? My 5 year old Chihuahua is lifting his little leg on everything from shoes, cabinets, plants, clothes to his own bed. The last straw was today my son came in from school put his backpack down and the dog lifted his leg and peed right on it. What is up with that. He is very agressive toward our other 1 year old Pomeranian/Chihuahua. He has tried to bite me. He growls furiously when I put him out or in his crate. The vet can't even work on him. He has to have me put a muzel on him to examine him. I am ready to call it quits with the little fellow. What should I do?

hello,,my 5 year old jack russel ( bruce) is frightened of everything, when my son and i bought him at 8 weeks old there was bruces mum and dad plus another bitch in the household,,the adult dogs were attacking all the pups,,i think because of that bruce is so scared of his own shadow, bruce is very jumpy when he goes for walks,he is always on (i call it guard patrol),if we meet any other dog bruce just wants to attack not say hello,,so i tend to keep him away from other dogs, when he attacks there is no blood drawn from any dog,,to me bruce is the scardest jack russel i no,,yet he is so loveable, got his own caracter,, how do you treat 5 years of scardness??????
