But...what if I don't want to use money?
- 11" x 4.7"
This is just over half the width of a piece of standard printer paper. - 8.5" x 3.6"
You can get three of these out of a standard piece of printer paper, with just a tiny sliver left. - 5" x 2 1/8"
You can get six of these out of a standard piece of printer paper. - 12" x 5 1/8"
You can get two of these out of a sheet of scrapbook paper, which is cool if you find a double-sided money pattern! - 5 7/8" x 2.5"
This is close to real size, and you can get eight of these from a 12"x12" sheet of scrapbook paper. - 2 3/8" x 1"
This isn't truly realistic, but it comes very close to the ratio of a dollar's length to width. So if you want your paper to be 4" wide, the long side should be 4 x 2 3/8, or 9.5". - 1" x 3/8"
This is another close approximation you can use. If you want your long side to be 7" long, you would multiply 7 x 3/8 to get your short side of 3".
What say you?
