Boost your Search Engine Results Page position with a Link Wheel

A Link Wheel is an SEO method to boost your SERP results for a property you are trying to promote online. Here is an example spoke on my link wheel.

White Hat Back Links For Free

Link building is an essential part of internet marketing. Many people consider it to be blackhat because your associates are not developed naturally, but the same can be said about link exchanges, purchasing links and even requesting someone to link to you. Plainly put, if a site likes your website and puts your link on their site, that is considered as a natural link, anything else, yes anything else is not considered to be whitehat in the all-seeing eyes of Google.

The key here is to ensure Google "knows" your link is "natural" by putting it on sites with some chance of gaining authority without paying for anything. In fact, you can actually earn money on these properties via text ads and etc, but we won't focus on that since we're only promoting our own stuff.

Squidoo

My thoughts on using squidoo in your linkwheel

First off, Squidoo is saturated. For the amount of effort need to gain any sort of viable and natural ranking here, you might as well post on Knol. At least there you'd be pretty much guaranteed to get some attention from Googlebot.

You can always skip this in favor of any other service, but I went ahead and used it because its fast and the UI does its job the way it should for the most part.

Squidoo like unique content too. You'll be sorry if you don't ensure it has a LOT of unique content since they'll lower your points and give you an ugly red text deal telling the world how much you suck at copypasta. I would have known this if I had read this book, maybe in the future I'll have enough to buy it for myself.

Look at me rambling again.... on the the next leg!
