You need to be careful when prospecting by phone.
As a real estate agent, part of our daily activities includes 2 to 3 hours of prospecting. Some agents choose to do it by walking communities and talking to homeowners door to door, other agents prospect on the phone by calling the past clients list. Others pick up a phone book and start calling. The Do NOT Call List and the legalities involved have made the prospecting process more complicated. Sales people do take a chance when they call to solicit for business without verifying if the listing is on the Do Not Call List.
