Are Happy Nappers On Your Child's MUST HAVE Wish List This Year?
So the holidays were around the corner and we were making plans for all of our seasonal "must do" activities & lists. While the kids were putting together their toy list for Santa, I was checking out reservation options for Norris Lake rentals as we always go on a yearly winter trip with the family. Right around this time my daughter Emily saw a Happy Nappers commercial on tv, and started begging me for one I told her to "put it on your list for Santa". We heard some stores had started carrying them, but every place we went to was sold out and on backorder, so I went to their website to buy one and found the best deal there.
At a price of only $14.99, they have an "internet only" offer where you get free shipping when you buy multiple Happy Nappers. As a mom, you just can't beat that deal getting two toys for the price of one, the kids get more stuff to play with, and you save a little money. They have six different animals to choose from (all were very cute), but I knew my daughter had her heart set on the Ladybug.
Since I knew it was a special I could only get online, I ended up grabbing the dragon one too for my 5 yr-old boy as it was too adorable to resist with it's growling noises, and my kids tend to get jealous when their siblings have something cool they don't. If you have a few little ones like me who are always wanting the same stuff, you'll take any specials you can get.

Which Happy Nappers Pillow Toy Does Your Child Want The Most?
Where To Buy Happy Nappers In Stores?
Portion of Happy Nappers Proceeds Given To The Home Sweet Home Fund
Currently Happy Nappers is offering a discount when you order more than one with proceed portions going to the Home Sweet Home Fund which is a charity that benefits Children's Brain Tumor Foundation. So let me get on my soap box for a minute and tell you to do your part helping others, buy a Happy Nappers pal or two for the kids or grandkids, and know some of your money is going to a good cause.
Happy Nappers vs Pillow Pets

And so the debate ensures between the two, Happy Nappers versus Pillow Pets. Why one is right for your child? It's really a matter of personal opinion and boils down to which one you think your child would enjoy playing with the most, maybe it's both.
They are both basically the same size, both super soft and fun to play with, and your kids can sleep or nap with either. Both are easily transportable in your car running errands with the kids or taking a flight for vacation or to see relatives.
The biggest difference between them is general functionality. The Happy Napper folds inside out, from home to animal, almost like having two toys in one. It also has a doorbell button that makes noises when you push it, which my kids absolutely love.
Share your thoughts below and tell us which one you think is the best:
Happy Nappers Commercial As Seen On TV
So what do these happy nappers pillow toys do anyway? First off, when they're zipped up in their cozy home, you can push the doorbell button and they make snoring & animal noises. Then, when your kids are ready to take them out of their home, just unzip the front, and pull out the reversible play pal as it easily folds inside out into their stuffed animal friend. One of the videos below shows the Dog play pal transforming inside & out so you can see how it works. Have you seen the Happy Nappers commercial on most kids tv stations? My kids can sing the lyrics to the song to a tee and I find myself singing it while cleaning around the house. Don't you hate that?

- I bought your happy napper dino to castle for my grandson for Easter, he can't eat candy. He had it one day before the zipper broke. I do not drive or I would have taken it back to rite aid. It cost me $19.99, that is alot of money (for me anyway) to spend on a toy that the zipper broke. My granson loved it when it was the dinosour, but unzipped he won't even look at it.

- Can anyone tell me if the happy napper has woken up your kids in the night? If they roll on top of it or something? My son is a very light sleeper and he tosses and turns and is begging for the dragon. But I struggle with buying it if it will wake him up every night. Any feedback is appreciated!

- I bought the dragon for my 3 yr old (almost 3) and he is also a light sleeper, when he leans on the button, that makes the dragon roar, he does wake up, but he usually just huggs the dragon and falls right back to sleep.

- Are Happy Nappers machine washable like Pillow Pets? My son really wants one, but I know it will eventually need to be washed. With the doorbell is it washable? Thanks

- My kids also really wanted Happy Nappers so I took a chance on Monday June 6. When I arrived home on the 9th, they were already on my doorstep. I'm in Canada, not sure if that makes a difference, but very fast, efficient service. I would think Jason would've received his by now as well. Canadian site seems to be OK. Good luck with any future orders!

- I have been following this thread and I you can read my experience below (it was a good one). But let me just say I think the company experienced growing pains and Happy Nappers just got so popular they ran out for a time being. They fixed the problem the rep said and I have to say after having the Happy Napper for almost a month my boys still carry them around everywhere. They are definitely nicer than the pillow pets. Everyone who sees them asks me where I got them. I purchased the puppy/doghouse and the cow/barn. They are adorable and the kids love switching them from one thing to another. It is like two things in one. We love them so I hope you guys give them another chance they are really worth it. Not just another stuffed toy but they are interactive too. 2 thunbs up for the Happy Napper!!!

Featured Comments From a Reader & Recent Happy Nappers Customer Jason
Just wanted to say "Thanks" to Jason for taking the time to share his experience with us!
My daughter decided today that she REALLY wanted a Happy Napper for her birthday so I took and chance and order one for her and one for her younger sister. The order confirmation email came right away which is a good positive first impression of the transaction. I will update this post with my experience as it happens.

I am actually a little late in posting this update and would like to apologize to Happy Nappers for not posting this earlier. As mentioned above, I ordered two Happy Nappers pillow toys on Sunday morning. Both Happy Nappers were delivered to my house at 1pm on Tuesday afternoon. This is one of the best e-commerce experiences I have ever had and is on par or better than Amazon. I have two very happy girls that are sleeping with their Happy Nappers while I type this. What's even better, was that Tuesday was my daughters birthday, so she was totally shocked as I told her it would probably take a month to get them. I have to give credit where credit is due - Happy Nappers exceeded my expectations. Good luck to all of you.

One last thing, I called Happy Nappers customer service on Tuesday after my wife told me I had a package delivered. I got someone on the phone in less than 60 seconds. They confirmed my order and that it was delivered. Another very positive experience.
Happy Nappers F.A.Q.'s
Answer: You need to buy 6 or more. To my knowledge that offer is only available when purchasing through their site.
Question: Where to buy Happy Nappers in Canada?
Answer: You can visit the Canadian site.
Question: What is the happy nappers shipping time frame?
Answer: Please refer to the statement below for US orders. Canadian orders deliver arrive within a week.
Question: What are the Happy Nappers song lyrics?
Answer: "They're happy, happy nappers, and they love to play with you. They're happy, happy nappers, they'll make all your dreams come true. Zip 'em, pop 'em, squeeze and hug them. They will always know you love them. You can be a happy napper too!"
The Program Director for Happy Nappers Outlines Shipping Timeframes:
Happy Nappers are in stock and shipping in a timely manner. If you order through
our website, here is what you should expect:
- Priority Orders are processed with 24-48 hours.
- Non-priority orders are being processed in 3-5 days, this could increase to 5-7 business days based on demand. Earlier this year we had limited supplies as actual orders far exceeded expectations and orders were not being processed in a timely fashion. Some customers were waiting 30 days or more to receive product. That issue has been resolved.
- Currently, orders are shipped from both east coast and west coast warehouses. Please allow 7 business days for shipment. However, if product is limited in one warehouse, we may ship product from the other in which case shipment may take 10 days.
- All orders can be tracked from our website.
- Approximately 7% of all orders have a credit card or address issue that need to be resolved prior to processing. A quick check on your order status will enable you to see if any of these issues pertain to your order.
- From the date of order to date of receipt should be 10-14 business days for all priority processed shipments, and 15-21 days for all others.
- We do not currently offer 1, 2 nor 3-day shipping options, but I will investigate these to see what might be possible in order to meet birthday and other deadlines.
If you have any issue about delivery, product quality, or any other concern, please feel free to contact me directly at "af@handsontoys.com". I will respond promptly and will work to resolve every issue. We cannot respond to posts here, as there is no contact information provided.
