Don't miss the Boat-Belize

Over the past couple years we have seen a lot of changes here in San Pedro with the growth of population. We have investment Brokers coming down in groves trying to figure out the lay of the land and scouting for properties.

They know that the dividends that Caribbean properties will pay their clients are some of the highest. We meet with these brokers often and have to say, it might be time for you too make a decision if you want in or out of the Caribbean market.

Good investors are not afraid to make a decision after thorough research.
Tina and I will spend the time to find the right investment that fits YOUR goals.

We find people are getting a little uncertain with leaving money in the banks and feel the stock market is unstable and prefer a hard asset. Owning a vacation home is rewarding and fun! Some stay year round, others rent it out to make money to help pay the fees.

Most people just watched their savings dwindle

Yes, we have profitable condos and properties that you can enjoy and have that financial reward (positive cash flow). Have you noticed all the magazine articles and T.V. shows focusing on Belize.

Don't you think you should look at what all the talk is about. Belize is on the verge of a Boom. People are getting fed up with their home countries and are making the move. Some people purchase property and sit on it and build later, others by Homes. We cater to everyone, we relocate a lot of people that work online from remote locations. You will see that the services here are excellent, the infrastructure is fairly new.

We have more educated investors looking to put their hard earned cash into investment vehicles that are safe and profitable. Belize is one of the few English speaking Central American Countries, which makes this a no Brain-er for the educated investor. Belize has a large literacy rate which is rare in such a small Caribbean country. It makes ALL the difference.

Belize is a country of true beauty, from the people, the rain forest to the turquoise sea. There is no acid rain or smog here in the country; it is mostly virgin land. This country offers a great retirement program for people over 45 that allows for great tax incentives, there is no capitol gains taxes or inheritance tax, property taxes are a fraction of what they are in the states and most other places.

Belizeans are the friendliest people you will find on the planet. Trust me, I am well traveled and picked Belize after several other countries and islands. You should be warned, if you come and see what Belize has to offer, you may not want to leave without your own little piece of Paradise.

People seem to be stuck in the same investing habits, I am dumbfounded that most Americans rarely invest abroad.

Some of the best held stocks are companies abroad, such as the Templeton fund which was bought out by Franklin investments because of its outstanding performance $.

Years ago, Tina and I where heavily invested in stocks before the crash. We cashed in when the market hit 11,500. The market was getting too inflated, and we decided it was too risky. Every night on the news, they would talk about the stock market and whether or not the market was inflated, most people just watched their savings dwindle.

Don't you wish you took control like we did, it was easy; we made one phone call and sold our stocks. People today need to take more control over their financial affairs, if you navigated threw the savings and loan scandal and the Dot-Com Bubble and the market crash, you should see the writing on the wall.

Baby Boomers are coming here to the island to retire or semi-retire here in Belize in great numbers.

We were proactive and shifted our investments to hard assets. Most people reading this don't know what to do, here is a hint, Baby Boomers.

Baby Boomers are coming here to the island to retire or semi-retire here in Belize in great numbers.
Baby Boomers control over 80% of personal financial assets and more than 50% of discretionary spending power., July 2011. They are responsible for more than half of all consumer spending, buy 77% of all prescription drugs, 61% of OTC medication and 80% of all leisure travel., July 2011. Where are they going to travel to, where will they retire? Retirees are looking beyond the shores of Florida and are looking for warmer climates in the Caribbean.

Belize is on the verge of a boom, being an English speaking country makes it fun and an easy move. There is plenty to do to keep busy, some enjoy daily yoga or aqua fit classes. Some folks find a small business to keep busy, while others are content with fishing and diving or sipping a cold beer. We have many selfless people that volunteer in the community and make San Pedro a better place, purely for the pleasure of giving something back (love you guys).

San Pedro is a busy town that has something going on 7 days a week, in different locations of the island.

Belize is one of the most favored countries because of location and most are not interested in learning another language. People are wanting to get away from the rat race and hassle in their lives now, they are trading up for the simple life. Belize is a Commonwealth of England and the money is exchanged 2 Belize dollars to 1 U.S. Dollar, which; most find attractive and simple.

You can hold two passports if you desire, the residence program is very easy and we can help with all of that when the time comes. This is one of the few countries you can come without a visa, you will need to come with a round trip ticket.

When your investing follow the money trends, not fads; big difference. The Caribbean has been growing in population and we know this trend will continue, don't wait till the prices have gone threw the roof. Remember investing is all about timing, and now is the time.

We have people relocating everyday to the island. The high speed internet combined with all the other services have been huge reasons why people are making the move, what is stopping you? Not the kids, they can get a much better education in most cases, here; than in the states and most other places.

Stop and think outside the box, speak with an educated local broker that has lived and still resides in the location. Every person has different goals, we can find that property to achieve your goals. Are you ready now to get out, maybe you are 10 years away, regardless; you need to decide if your an investor or not. Don't be afraid to invest in another country because your family and friends will think your crazy, that is why we are in this financial global mess. Society has paid to much attention to the Joneses and maxed out credit cards or bought a car they couldn't afford. Let them drive their swanky car that cost thousands in insurance, repairs, and payments. Now is the time to simplify your life.

Here in Belize we enjoy the simple life, we have more infrastructure and luxuries than in most cities.
On the island we drive golf carts, ride bikes, boats and we have service vehicles to help with the construction and services. Most hardware, grocery and supply stores will deliver right to your door. My insurance and maintenance on my cart for the year does not cost a thousand dollars combined.

Do a little research, you might find out Belize is your ticket out of the rat race. Feel free to E-mail us, or call; we are always happy to help people sort out the misconceptions of living and working abroad. Spend your money wisely and don't take investment tips from your neighbor or favorite taxi or door man.

Come down and see if Belize is the lifestyle change you are looking for. We will be happy to guide you in the right direction to ensure your feet land softly.
