Doodle Easter Eggs

To give you an easy start with the egg shape I made a quick graphic with slightly different egg shapes.

Change them to the size you like and print them on thick paper.

You can use the outline image above and then add your own new basic lines to add the first detail lines, or you can print this image to have an image which has the basis lines ready for you.

I did them in light grey. If you paint over the light grey with black. the premade outlines will not be visible any more.

Now choose one of the eggs and start with redrawing the outlines with a black micro pen.
Don't try to be 100% accurate :) You are doing a hand drawn image and it will never be as accuracte as a computer image.

But we don't try to simulate a printed image ;)

On this image I filled a few shapes with an easy pattern to show how we continue

I added a few more lines.
Everything looks really simple at the moment :)

On this image I added the first smaller details

You will see now the progress of filling all shapes with different pattern.

Ok - I think it is finished now :)

Of course this is only an example. The possibilities of the filling pattern are endless.
You could also fill the shapes with geometrical pattern, dots, hearts, flowers or even with little eggs filled with pattern :)

If you like, color your image now or use it as it is.

Instead of drawing on white paper, you could also draw them on colored paper.
