I also like to make Doodles on paper
It's really easy.
Just take a little square paper, draw some outlines and start filling them with lots of small pattern.
You can fill them with circles, dots, stripes, arrows, squares, flowers - whatever you like :)
You can make the outline a bit thicker and use a smaller pen or pencil for the fill patterns.
I usually use a black fineliner to paint the pattern. Sometimes I also color the pattern. But most of the time I use white paper and black pen, because I like that most.

- I'm doodling with a pen too ;) Just not on a piece of paper. Instead of that I'm drawing with a pen on my Wacom Cintiq :) But doodling on paper is fun too. I often do that when I wait for something.

- I'd never thought of "doodling" in terms of a computer but, rather, a piece of scrap paper and a pen or pencil. I'm sure my scrap paper doodles could never look as nice as what you've created with PhotoShop. But no matter. Doodling is a great way to let your mind wander while your hand moves.

- I doodle a lot, especially when on the phone at home. They are nothing like your doodles though, mine aren't as symetrical. Interesting as to what we doodle.
