These ideas are wonderful. I used to make pretty elaborate cakes for my boys when they were little. It was always fun and the kids loved them. My 3 y.o. daughter is a big Dora fan. But to answer your question, - no, I have never made any thematic cakes, because I really suck at making cakes :)) My sister-in-law, though, is a real pro. I am forwarding this lens to her asap, so my DD can finally enjoy a fab Dora cake :)) no, i only made normal cakes without any theme. this is a good idea to give as birthday gift for young girls. thank you for sharing.
