- I grew up with Doris Day's smile seeming to be everywhere along with here music on the radio. For some reason, "Please Don't Eat the Daisies started going through my head right away...supposin' it showers, while we're eatin' flowers...the hours are wasted away...don't eat the daisies today! Doris Day has always been pure sunshine!

- I can't remember any of her movies in particular, but my Mum was always singing her songs when I was little, and that is what I will remember most about Doris Day. She definitely was a beauty, it's a shame that she stopped acting so early in her life.
