    Had I found this lens when I first started online in 2008, I might have made more and better lenses. Still I like using Squidoo for fun and because it's just so much fun building and reading lenses!

    It seems every time I visit a lens like this one, I end up with 10 or more tabs open of other things I want to check out. Another great resource, thank you! I think one of the most important things any new (and not so new) lensmaster can do is READ and RESEARCH! Learn from the ones that are doing a great job of making top notch lenses. I probably spend at least 2 hours a day doing just that, and it is helping. Thanks again for this resource.

    Very good ideas. Squidoo is a wonderful place to have fun and make money. I think it's important to get the having fun part in there first. I think it's harder to make money on Squidoo if you're not having fun doing it.

I have done two lenes and not doing to bad but i want to tell every one an show them i can advertise there business and do a good job for them here on squidoo.

    I'm very new to computers. So an awful lot of your terms are in another language. But I do not mind asking for help from a young person! I'm almost sixty, married(3 times), have three grown kids, 8 grandkids, and just started my own business in January doing home parties with Vantel Pearls in the Oyster. Everything with that business goes through a computer so I'm learning. Alot of Dreamstealers say I can't do a lot of things,but I'm out to prove them wrong. I'm just trying to become an individual. I am capable,smart,have alot of opinions and it's time I start expressing myself!!

    I am emailing this lens to all the people I referred. What a wonderful overview for someone who asks the questions "What is this Squidoo thing and what can I do if I join?"

    Eve-Marie, I'm so used to holding down the shift key after 8 years of web design - it's a hard habit to break!! I've always prefered doing that because then I can easily see my code from my text. The good news is that Squidoo automatically changes these two things for me. Old habits die hard. ;)

    Just two remarks which concerns your HTML code. Squidoo is in XHTML 1.0 transitional so perhaps you could use small letters in your tags instead of these old-fashioned capital letters. B is deprecated, so use strong or em.
