A popular melee hero

He's a furbolg warrior that can devastate enemies with his ferocious melee attacks... many of which can happen in the blink of an eye. The ursa warrior's real damage comes through improved strength rather than agility, as his ultimate ability adds a portion of his health to every swing.

More agility doesn't hurt though! The butterfly item is popular for Ursa in -em DotA games due to boosting his attack speed, damage, and tankability (coupled with a heart of course).

Item build

I prefer the following DotA equipment unless I'm playing a tough team: Vanguard, Vladmir's Blessing, Power Treads (or Phase Boots) and a Heart. I start with the first two in pieces and work my way towards that depending on my available gold. A lothar's edge or blink dagger for Ulfsaar is always good as well if they're not a bad choice in the matchup.

    his item to kill roshan at lvl 1 is vladi 3 poor mans shield and stout shield.

    its later items are

    1.phase boots
    2.dagger
    3.vanguard

    Orb Effects don't effect fury swipes, I generally get Diffusal Blade; the mana break doesn't work, but the slow is very useful. But yeah, that's what works for me.

    SnY is not for ursa bec. it has an orb effect when somebody says "Sny is best for Ursa" you can reply like this "are you a NOOB?or you are just don't know how to use Ursa.My build for Ursa is Vladimirs.sometimes threads sometimes phase boots also u can get a Kelen's Dagger of Escape if u want, sometimes vg but i prepare for cuirras,Heart of Tarasque(HOT),cranium Basher if u want ursa to be a killer,you can alsobuild a lothars edge if your opponent had a gem u can buy butterfly

    I like to buy Lothar's Edge on him. Ursa's a tough one to get away from if you sneak up on someone.
