Recipes for Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter
• 2 and 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips or white chocolate chips
• 1 and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar

Instructions

-Preheat oven to 375 degrees

-In a bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients; flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt. In another bowl, mix together the butter, eggs, sugars, and vanilla. Mix together the ingredients from both bowls into one bigger bowl.

-Stir in the chocolate chips. (I like the elegant taste and feel white chocolate gives it but if you're a chocolate lover, add regular semi-sweet chocolate chips)

-Place teaspoon sized lumps on a baking sheet spread two inches apart.

-Bake for 9-11 minutes when edges begin to brown. Let cool on racks.
