Let's get something dead straight before we start.

I hate Pick Up Advices . I hate them more than you do, and I always have..

Really, I do. And if you give me a few seconds I will tell you why.

But first, let's start with how I got here, and why I'm writing this...

It must have been about three weeks ago now, I was browsing the web when I got an e-mail from a friend raving about this new pick up ebook called "Double Your Dating", by David Deangelo.

Now, my friend is actually someone whose opinion I trust, which is the only reason I clicked on the link in the first place. And here I am...

"But why do I hate those pick up advices with a manic passion..."

Well, let me explain. I am a regular guy who likes to go out, and I spend close to $400 a week on bars and clubs . In short, I had some average success, I could pick up girls in a score of 5 or 6 in a scale out of 10...

But, I have never been a big fan of pick up advices - for me, listening to things like "Just be Yourself" or "Have Confidence" has never conferred much of an advantage on the other guys. What it does do, though, is sound good on a website... and lots of newbies see "1,500 full-proof pick up lines", and think "wow! What a big number, here are my credit card details".

Then, the same guys who bought the 1,500 or "Just Be Yourself" Advicerealize that a big list of pick up lines doesn't mean anything on its own - only after wasting their time on bars and clubs... and then, the next miracle advice comes out and the cycle repeats itself...

Great for the guys who made the advices - pretty crappy for the poor newbie who bought it.

So, you can imagine my thoughts when I got my friend's e-mail recommending Double Your Dating. As I say, it was only because he was normally spot-on that I even clicked away.

When I reached the Double Your Dating website, I was actually pretty impressed with the sales copy, and even more impressed with some of the teachings that this appears to have - teaching body language, improving innergame...

But, again, I have to be honest with you...,

At this point, I still thought to myself, "nice copy, lots of new stuff, this may be a nice reading... but yet again, it just isn't going to be too practical for my real life... so forget it".

And that was that; I left the site... but a few days later my friend e-mailed me, letting me know he had used Double Your Dating techniques with some girls on a bar and got the number or 5 different girls in the same night. He also said that I needed to drop what I was doing and get the ebook. So, I spent the excess $19.97 in my Paypal account and half-heartedly purchased my copy of Double Your Dating.

Just so you know, I only purchased because... well, money isn't too much of an issue for me, and I was about to file it away on my to-do list when my friend started up again - in fact he pestered the hell out of me to get using the ebook once I had it!

So, I decided to give him a chance, and make full use of Double Your Dating... so I sat down for an hour to read the ebook...

But an hour wasn't enough...

In the end, it took me two days to master the eBook - two full days to ignore the noise and focus on the signal, and really understand what works with picking up chicks and what doesn't. Because, believe me this is a bit of a beast.

I got 13 beautiful women's phone numbers, went out with 6 and slept with 2. Not that bad for just 3 weeks..
