Make Your Own Dough Bait!

There are a multitude of recipes available on the Internet for making dough bait. One dough bait recipe that our fishing club - City Of Allen Fishing (COAF) Field Team, prefers is the "Simple Dough Bait Recipe" because... you guessed it.... It is simple to make.

Even better, it is effective at catching Catfish in the local community lakes and ponds in our area. Feel free to mix up a batch - see recipe below.

4 Cups Corn Meal
4 Cups Water (Boiled)
4oz Vanilla Flavoring
2 Cups Water (Cold)
1/2 Cup of Corn Meal (add as needed to thicken the batch)
