What is an iPhone?
Nowadays such a thing as iPhone becomes more and more spread. And now we are not much surprised to see a person with this stuff on the street, in the park, in the shop or somewhere else. But what is an iPhone? This is an Internet-enabled multimedia mobile phone designed and marketed by Apple. It is very popular since it has a great deal of different functions. This involves such functions as a camera phone, a portable media player (iPod), text messaging, and visual voicemail. It also includes Internet possibilities, for example, web browsing, e-mail and local Wi-Fi connectivity. The mobile phone supports the GSM standard, so it gains international popularity. Though many people do claim that this mobile phone is far from being little and handy, those people who use iPhones assure that they really have their pluses.
Some functions of iPhones.
A media player is similar to iPod, but has a slight difference: the sections of the music library are divided more clearly alphabetically. Like iPods -2005, the iPhone can play video, so the users are able to watch TV shows or movies. It also has a built in 2.0 megapixel camera located on the back. However, the iPhone does not allow taking video recording. Moreover, it has the tools that allow the users to upload and e-mail photos made on the iPhone. For text input, the device implements a virtual keyboard on the touchscreen. It has automatic spell checking and correction, predictive word capabilities, and a dynamic dictionary that learns new words. I have mentioned only a few functions of the iPhone, but you can see that they are numerous and useful.
