"Well, after a few month of beta testing I guess it's time to give everybody my opinion. Since 2010 Norton became my favorite security suite for my PC, and this one is no exception. " This version is my favorite - it is everything you need and nothing you don't need. No stand alone firewall is included, but it does have enhancements to the windows firewall - however, for home use, I always turn software firewalls off since they tend to block network printers and my router provides more than enough hardware firewall protection for my home network. "I used to swear by Norton Antivirus because in 2 years working for a government agency that will remain nameless in the early-mid 2000's their network went down 4 times and every computer on it was infected with a virus except for mine which I had uninstalled McAfee on and instead installed my own copy of Norton (though I'll never admit that to the system administrator). "I have been using Norton to protect my computers since the 80's. Since I am a long time repeat customer, that says it all. "This is the 3rd year I'm using McAfee and I've been consistently happy with this series of products. This particular version has a perceivable difference in the manner in which backgorund scans are conducted. "I've never had a problem with spy sweeper. Ive had other virus protection programs installed in my PC along with spysweeper and I've never had a problem. It works great and gets the job done! The format is simple and very intuitive so the learning curve takes all of 5 minutes.
