In this lens we are going to look at the child and how to proceed with the coming of preschool and school age. Children with down syndrome often attend their local mainstream school and preschool.
We are going to look at this in more detail, later in this lens. In this lens we are also looking at growth and development, developmental delays, coping skills, discipine,and growing and learning with babies. We may also touch on health issue that are common in young children with down syndrome, hearing and hearing loss, ear and chest infections, runny noses dry skin.
