Emanuel Bronner was the eccentric maker of high-quality castile soap, and author of the Moral ABCs.
After watching the 2009 video - Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox, I'm enthusiastic about Emmanuel Bronner's "All One God" philosophy with the "Moral ABCs". What an amazing character! Many thought he was insane and in fact, he was at one time committed to an insane asylum, from which he escaped after shock treatments. He traveled to California and settled in Escondido where he started the Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap company.
Dr. Bronner was born in Europe of a Jewish soap making family. He immigrated to the USA before the war but could not convince his parents to do so. They perished in the Holocaust. He insisted that the best thing for "Spaceship Earth" would be for all of us to unite in an "ALL ONE GOD FAITH".

This is a mind opening documentary. I had no idea what a character Dr. Bronner was. I didn't know he'd been put into a mental hospital back in the 1940s. I can only say, I'm so very happy he escaped because his soap is a great boon to mankind! I'm also very grateful to his sons Ralph and Jim, and other family members, for maintaining the business.

I believe he was right. Others may snicker and laugh, but I won't. This man was onto something!
First, let me tell you a little more about Emanuel Bronner.
He was born to Jewish parents. The mother of his children was Catholic.
He started his own religious/philosophical group: ALL-ONE-GOD-FAITH.
He said, "All One or All None!" He was concerned about the Communist take-over of America and about the fluoride poisoning of the American water supply. Because of these beliefs he was placed in a mental hospital in Illinois. But was he really insane? ...or was he ahead of his time?
I believe he was right... and either we'll come together as children of One God or the planet will be destroyed by the ignorance of humans. As you can see, our food and water have been poisoned, even our skies, and the gulf oil spill came very close to ending everything by poisoning our sea water and destroying our crops. Humans make lousy 'gods' and should quit trying to control things to death... and they should especially quit trying to control other people!

This smells so amazingly good! I love the peppermint soap too - but the scent of this one really pleases me!
I've been using Dr. Bronner's pure castile soap - made with organic oils, for years now. They are 100% vegan. I believe this is a quality product I can trust. What do you get with other soaps? Well, first of all, you don't get to know what's in it. You could be washing your dishes with deadly chemicals and by-products of the cattle industry. As a long-time vegetarian I will buy Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap over any other soap, any day!
