Dr. Pepper is the Best Drink Ever

Dr. Pepper is the best tasting soda pop ever made: Coke and Pepsi don't even compare.  I love all of the awesome vintage collectibles, antique diner signs, glass bottles, and other things left from Dr. Pepper's early years.

About Dr. Pepper

Dr Pepper is a soft drink with 23 proprietary ingredients that is sold in the United States by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and in other parts of North America, South America, and Europe by The Coca-Cola Company.http://www.thefreelibrary.com/COLA+KING+TO+BUY+GLOBAL+RIGHTS+TO+DR.+PEPPER,+CANADA+DRY-a083848617 There is also a no-sugar version, Diet Dr Pepper, as well as a line of flavored versions, first introduced in the 2000s. W.W. Clements, a former CEO and president of the Dr Pepper/7-Up Company, described the taste of Dr Pepper as one-of-a-kind, saying "I've always maintained you cannot tell anyone what Dr Pepper tastes like because it's so different. It's not an apple, it's not an orange, it's not a strawberry, it's not a root beer, it's not even a cola. It's a different kind of drink with a unique taste all its own."Rodengen, Jeffrey L., "The Legend of Dr. Pepper/Seven-Up", Write Stuff Syndicate, Inc., 1995, page 31

Collecting Antique Dr. Pepper Things

I love antiques, especially vintage glass soda bottles. Glass pop bottles aren't available much anymore, at least in the United States, especially Dr. Pepper ones.

Antique Dr. Pepper signs are also fun and interesting to collect. To me it's cool to think that at one time a sign was hanging up in an old diner somewhere in the 1950s or before. Kind of brings a nostalgic feeling, to wonder what kinds of things that sign has been around, and all of the history it has experienced.

Why Collect Dr. Pepper Memorabilia?

Why should you collect Dr. Pepper stuff?

A lot of people really love Dr. Pepper, and will pay to have something to "honor" it, if you will, in their house.

Because of this, the value of vintage Dr. Pepper collectibles keeps rising and rising, as they become rarer and rarer. They are actually a pretty neat investment, and something to pass onto your children if you can't bear parting with them.

I love Dr Pepper, too, though I don't collect anything. That's just because I don't have the room. I even made a lens on Dr Pepper. See if you like it. www.squidoo.com/drpepper.
