Welcome to my Holiday Gift Guide of Dr. Suess Books!
Dr. Suess Books for children span over generations. Ask any child, any teen, any adult if they have read a Dr. Suess book and it probably won't surprise you that they have not only read them, but they have a favorite Dr. Suess book and can probably quote many of the books from memory.
I think that is what makes Dr. Suess books so timeless and enchanting.
They are filled with rhymes and fun silly stories with memorable characters.
Many of his books have morals that teach lessons on caring, and the difference between right and wrong.
But what I think is the most important thing about his books is; they get children reading and learning. Inspiring them to read them over and over again.

On Beyond Zebra and I Had Trouble Getting to Solla Sollew. Although there was a birthday one I loved, too. My parents and I still say we're "Hungry Horse Hay" sometimes.

I would have given it a try, but Dr. Suess Books were not available in the UK when I was a child
Margo_Arrowsmith says:
Has to be Horton Hears a Who

Green Eggs and Ham but I especially enjoyed all of the beginner books. Kids and I read them many times!
