Generations, centuries; pass, the young prince; now an ancient looking man; invites Jonathan Harker to his home to finalize a big real estate purchase in London. . As Jonathan is completing some paper work, he unknowingly leaves a picture of his fiancé on the table.

The count sees the photo, and is in awe. He has found Elisabeta. She has returned to him. Mina Murray Jonathan's fiancée is the princess reincarnate.. When the count sees it, he goes into a trance, and is quickly under her spell. Even though he is the vampire, she has cast a spell on him. The love he has for Elisabeta (Mina Murray) takes over, and he goes out to seek her.
Once in London, the Count quickly finds Mina. With the powers of his mind, he commands her to see him. She does. He then tries to initiate a conversation, to no avail. Mina is a bit flushed, and becomes a bit defensive. The Count now young, handsome , gallant vampire

apologizes for his disruption, and excuses himself. Mina feels compelled to help him after being quite rude, so she agrees to show him the London theater. Mina and the Count exchange a few words, but the attraction is obvious. Mina is even is a bit alarmed at how familiar he is to her. All this occurs while Jonathan, is still in Transylvania. ( He seems to be trapped by a coven of succubi, Dracula's concubines)

Mina and Count Dracula are drawn to each other and have a very emotionally passionate affair. Upon telling Mina about his princess' fate, Mina begins to describe the events of the death of Elisabeta in great detail, as though it was herself, whom had endured these events. empathetic to the count's great loss, she begins to cry. This moves Count to tears. She knows that she and the count had loved each other deeply in another lifetime. The lost lovers, at last are reunited.

Eternal Love

Back in Transylvania, Jonathan Harker escapes Dracula's castle. He manages to find a convent and seeks refuge there. He quickly sends for Mina, fearing for his and her life. He wishes to marry her as soon as possible. When Mina hears that Jonathan needs her by his side, she quickly responds. However, she remembers her sad prince, whom she truly loves, but vows never to think or speak of their forbidden love.
In a letter, she explains to Dracula that she will never be able to see him again. In rage and anger, he curses his destiny. He will not lose his love again.
Mina and Jonathan, now married, return to London. They find that a plethora of unsettling events have happened during their absence. Mina's dear friend Lucy, who was very ill when Mina left, passed away very painfully. (In actuality, she became a vampire, and had to be staked and beheaded). As well as the introduction of Dr. Van Helsing. He claims that Lucy was killed by some sort of monster, and is determined to hunt this monster and kill him.

While on the hunt, with Van Helsing Jonathan leaves Mina in the asylum, so that she may not be in danger, while sleeping in her quarters, a green mist creeps in through her window. The Count, once again is there with her. He listens to her swoon, calling to him. While this is what the count wants to hear, he mutters under his breath, "you do not know what you are saying". She opens her eyes, and assures him that she knows exactly what she is saying. He confesses to her that he is the monster that is being hunted, he killed Lucy, he is the famed vampire. She weeps, but confesses she still loves him, and does not care. She pleads for him to make her like him. He then takes her in a fatal embrace, and begins to drink her life from her. He quickly stops, and says he cannot continue, he does not want her to be damned like him. He proclaims that he loves her too much to condemn her. But still she pleas, she wants eternal life, and to be taken away from so much death. At this, he surrenders, and gives himself to her, with fiery passion, she drinks of him. They now share the same, everlasting doom.

Van Helsing and Jonathan rush into the room to find Mina in an eerie embrace. They cast Dracula away, but he has already claimed his love. They are torn apart again. But this time, they are connected, she is his.

In the final scene, Mina now fully devout to her vampire, is a tool used by Van Helsing and the other hunters. Dracula is returning to his homeland, and they want to be there first to finish him. After a relentless battle, Dracula is struck, not being able to see him wounded Mina comes to his aid. Jonathan cannot hurt her, because he loves her still.. Mina drags her fallen count into the church. In her arms she weeps for him. He is now a disfigured looking man, but still she kisses him passionately. He then asks her, with the most sincerity to "give him peace"

Mina:
"There, in the presence of God, I
understood at last how my love could release us all from the
powers of darkness. Our love is stronger than death.......... ".
She released her prince from his damnation...

Mina, understands that in order to give him peace and reconciliation, she must kill him. She slays her dark prince in the name of love. The ultimate sacrifice has been made. Love overcame their damnation, and sacrifice secured their redemption.

Dracula to Jonathan when he see's Mina's picture: "Do you believe in destiny? That even the powers of time can be ordered to a single purpose? The luckiest man who walks on this earth is the one who finds true love."

Dracula to Mina: "Please permit me to introduce myself.I am Prince Vlad of Szekely. "
Mina to Dracula: "A prince, no less?
Dracula: "I am your servant"

Dracula to Mina: "Do not fear me"

Mina to Dracula: "God, who are you? I know you! " .
Dracula responds:" I have crossed oceans of time to find you."

Dracula as he pets a wolf that has ecaped the zoo: "...There is much to be learned from beasts"

Dracula to Mina as they dine together:"Absinthe (Absence?) is the aphrodisiac of the soul. The green fury who lives in the absinthe wants your soul. But you are safe with me."

Mina to Dracula: "Tell me, Prince, tell me of your home. "
Dracula replies:"The most beautiful place in all creation."
Mina proceeds:"Yes, it must be. A land beyond a great, vast forest
surrounded by majestic mountains, lush vineyards, and flowers of
such frailty and beauty as to be found nowhere else."
Dracula: " You describe my home as if you had seen it firsthand"
Mnia responds: "It's your voice, perhaps. It's so familiar. It's like
a...it's like a voice in a dream I cannot place, and it comforts
me when I am alone.."

Dracula to Mina as he watches her sleep:" My most precious life."

Dracula's Confession:" I am nothing, lifeless, soulless, hated and feared. I
am dead to all the world...hear me! I am the monster the
breathing men would kill. I am Dracula."

Mina:"...I
love you. Oh, God forgive me, I do. I want to be what you are,
see what you see, love what you love"

Dracula to Mina:"Then I give you life eternal, everlasting love, the
power over the storm and the beasts of the earth. Walk with me
to be my loving wife forever."

Dracula:"Mina, drink and join me in eternal life."

Dracula cannot condemn her:"You'll be cursed as I am and walk through the shadow
of death for all eternity. I love you too much to condemn you."

Dracula: "Where is my God? He has forsaken me. It is finished..... Give me peace."
