Draenei Leveling Guide

Want the best Draenei Leveling Guide available? Confused about which Draenei quests to take and when to take them? Learn how to speed up your Draenei leveling and make the most of  this new World of Warcraft race.

Like many people trying out the Draenei for the first time, I was feeling a little lost trying to figure out which quest to do next. I felt frustrated because I knew that there had to be a faster way to complete the quests without wondering around half the map wondering what to do next. My frustration quickly went away when I found Zygor's Alliance Leveling Guide. His guide helped me decide which quest to do next and made learning the new Draenei race a lot more fun.

I'm going to go through this as a Shaman.  From where you start out, get "You Survived" quest and then go to the crash site building and turn it in.  Get "Replenishing the Healing Crystals".  Go near the tent and get "Volatile Mutations".  Head North and starting taking out Vale Moths. Loot them to complete your quests.  You should reach level 2 with ease.

Once you've got everything you need, head south and turn in "Volatile Mutations".  You'll get "What Must be Done".  Also get "Botanical Legwork" nearby.  Go to the ship's entrance and turn in "Replenishing the Healing Crystals" to get "Urgent Delivery".  Go further into the ship and turn in "Urgent Delivery" and get "Rescue the Survivors".  Head over to the Shaman trainer and complete "Shaman Training" to get some xp.

Head out the south exit to get "Spare Parts" and "Incoulation".  Go east and look for a Draenei lying on the ground.  Use your healing ability on them.  Go south to Ammen Fields and kill mutated root lashers.  Also look out for corrupted flowers in this area so you can complete "Botanical Legwork".  Once done, turn in "Botanical Legwork" and "What Must be Done".  Get "Healing the Lake".  Also go inside and turn in "Rescue the Survivors"  Go to Silverline Lake and touch the big crystal to get "Disperse the Neutralizing Agent".  Head east and use the Inoculating Crystal on the yellow named mookin to complete "Inoculation".  Look out for spare parts to complete "Spare Parts" as well.  Grind a few mobs until you reach 4.  Use the hearthstone to get back to the crash site.

Turn in "Healing the Lake" to get you first totem quest, "Call of Earth".  Also turn in "Spare Parts" and "Inoculation".  Get "The Missing Scout".

Head Northwest to complete the "Call of Earth" quest.  Once done, return to the ship and turn it in to get your totem.  You should be level 5 now.

Go south to turn in "The Missing Scout" and get "The Blood Elves".  Go whack some elves and turn it in to get "Blood Elf Spy".  Go take out Surveyor Candress and get the blood elf plans from her.  This will start "Blood Elf Plans".  Go back to the crash to turn in"Blood Elf Spy" and "Blood Elf Plans".  Get "The Emitter" and "Travel to Azure Watch".  You should be close to level 6.  Head west and meet Aeun to get "Word from Azure Watch".  Head west and talk to the fishing trainer.  Get "Red Snapper - Very Tasty!"

Do some fishing to complete the quest and get the fishing pole.  Get "Find Aceton" and head west.  You should be level 6 by now.  Reach Azure Watch.

Time to rest in the game and in real life.

Draenei Leveling Tips

Since I have some experience leveling Alliance characters in World of Warcraft, I thought I would put together a small WoW Alliance Leveling Guide.

1 - Whenever I reach the "5 levels" (15, 25, 35, etc), I try to get the best food and water I can. These seems to help me through the tough times when there are lots of enemies wanting a piece of me. Instead of wasting time waiting for my health and mana to return, the food and water help me get back into the action much sooner.

2 - If starting a character on a new server, try to pick up the mining and skinning professions. These make it a lot easier to make money starting out. Hunters don't make the best miners since they cannot hunt and mine at the same time. Skinning involves killing animals and then taking their fur. The fur can be sold later on for money.

3 - Once you hit level 20, starting checking every mob you kill for loot. No telling when a purple or blue item will drop. These items usually fetch a hefty fee in the auction house so picking them up to sell them later can help you get gold much faster.

4 - I prefer to use the Night Elf race for Alliance leveling. There's something about being able to hide in the shadows that makes it appealing. A night elf hunter can be almost invisible to mobs and other players. Sometimes the best battles are the ones we don't fight.

Derek's Gold Mastery Guide is the latest World of Warcraft guide to hit the market. I was a little skeptical at first about it, but I gave in and picked it up. Purchasing gold has always made me anxious as some of the websites are pretty shady and it costs REAL money to get the gold.

Make Unlimited Warcraft Riches - How to Make WoW Gold With a Mage

Everyone who plays World of Warcraft is always looking for ways to make more gold. Thanks to resources like the Warcraft Riches Guide, , these tactics are made available and can be used over and over again without any fear of a WoW account being banned. Check out this tip for using a Mage to make some easy gold in World of Warcraft.

One tactic for higher level characters is Area of Effect (AoE) grinding. This involves using a character class, usually a mage, and getting a lot of mobs to gather around the character before unleashing a bunch of spells or attacks that will take out the entire group in short order. The trick to AoE grinding is to make sure that the amount of time and resources to take out the groups couldn't be better spent taking out mobs one by one. Keep in mind that you'll probably need to sit and eat or drink to recover before taking on the next mob.

One good place to do AoE grinding is Silithus. There are many humanoid mobs in this area. Usually humanoid mobs tend to drop better stuff when killed, so being able to take out large mobs of humanoids in a short amount of time can help bring in a good amount of gold. The humanoids in Silithus have a tendency to drop runecloth, which can sell for a decent price at the Auction House. Once you've cleared a few groups, head back to the Auction House and sell off the stuff that dropped that you don't need. You'll probably also get some good coin drops from these mobs too. There might be some stuff that you can sell to a vendor and get a decent price for as well.

Thanks to the Warcraft Riches Guide, you've now got an easy way to make some gold with a Mage in World of Warcraft. It's possible to use another class, but the mage is a little easier to do AoE grinding with that many of the other classes.

WoW Gold Making Tip From Derek%u2019s Gold Mastery Guide

How to Make Gold Quickly in World of Warcraft

There are many ways to make gold in World of Warcraft. Some involve the auction house, some involve grinding, and some involve using professions to make valuable items. Derek's Gold Mastery Guide has tips for many of these situations. One such gold making tip involves going into instances using stealth tactics. Derek's Gold Guide refers to these as Stealth Runs. This tip is best used by Rogues and Druids, but it can used by anyone provided they have a means of staying out of sight. The main purpose of the Stealth Run is to sneak past all of the minions and lesser mobs assembled at the beginning of the instance and go directly to the boss character at the end. The group then takes out the boss and gets all of his loot without having to go through his flunkies first.

According to Derek's Gold Mastery Guide, one of the best instances in World of Warcraft for Stealth Runs is Dire Maul. Derek recommends a group of 2-3 characters for this run. He also states that using the mining profession can really increase the gold flow as there are veins of Thorium ore contained within the instance. These can be mined and sold at the auction house for a pretty nice price.

The real treasure from the Dire Maul Stealth Run is the loot from killing the boss. This loot can be used by the characters or sold at the auction house for a nice return. It's easy to see why this can be a productive instance to farm for gold. Derek's Gold Guide says there are other instances that will open up with the Burning Crusade expansion that will allow for stealth runs as well. Keep an eye out for these as they can be great sources of gold and loot with minimal time and energy investment.
