Where did the term "draft dodger" come from?
Until recent years, the only draft dodgers that I knew were those that avoided or evaded the draft during the the Viet Nam war. Among the people that I knew, that was done by leaving the country, which could have meant a drive over the border into Canada here in the northeast.
Perhaps this is where the term for the cute or practical things you put along the base of a door to block wind or drafts from coming in under the door originated.
What we're really interested in on this page is providing a selection of Draft Dodgers for you to look through for your home.
