Game Features
Dark Fantasy Setting: the proud Kingdom of Ferelden is plagued by Blight - an army of monstrous creatures, who were once mages but went too far in their quest for power. The Blight is led by one of the Old Gods, an ancient dragon, an archdemon of terrible might - and only the nearly-forgotten Grey Wardens and their new champion can stop the coming darkness.Choose Your Origin: your race and sometimes even class choices determine your starting location and your background story. For example, if you start as a Noble, you might live in a royal family; rich, and yet always at the center of intrigues, hate and jealousy. On the other hand, if you start as a Commoner, you will have to begin your journey on the streets among the poor.
Your Actions Affect the World: while there's no alignment as in previous BioWare games, the choices of the main character still affect the story. The decisions that you make will change the world around you, to the point of deciding who will become King or even affecting entire nations and races. These decisions will also influence your companion NPCs, and could even ultimately lead to an NPC deciding to leave your party.
Three Base Classes: start the game as either Mage, Rogue or Warrior of your chosen race. Experience the engaging origin story, and specialize your character in the two tiers of advanced classes as you level up!
Party-Based Gameplay: journey together with up to 3 NPC characters and enjoy their realistic interactions. Choose from a huge pool of characters that you meet along the way.
Spell Interaction: 'Blizzard' can put out fires, and fire spells can ignite grease from a grease spell. You can specialize in unique and diverse Schools of Magic unlike in any other RPGs.
Amazing Graphics: brand new game engine - Eclipse - allows you to fully experience the incredibly detailed and rich world of Dragon Age. Just see the screenshots above!

- Bioware writes good storylines. Hoping a masterpiece in Dragon Age.
They also seem to be going low-fantasy route this time instead of high fantasy D&D world.
