    I've been curious about this game since Felicia Day's Dragon Age web series came out. I'm tempted to get it but I'm afraid it will eat up all my time! :-}

    i know i have unlocked the arcane warrior and blood mage specilizations but dont know how to add them to my character i'm playing on xbox360 plzzzz help

    I cannot seem to get into the back room in the warehouse, I did it once but my ps3 froze just as i was exiting the warehouse in denerim and i didnt save, Now I'm stuck can anyone help?

    Awesome resource you have here - I slacked off for a long time to finish this game and am trying to get through the end semi-quickly so I can play Awakening and start on DA2.

    one thing i regret about origins is I didnt get the dog ...damn it...and i really liked those war dogs

    i've played the DAO (witch hunt) somehow the female dalish character dealt 400+ damage to a monster. is there anyone can explain what kind of combos she use, or it's just a bug?

    Played Dragons Age Origins on PS3 and it was my favorite game. Was sad to see my girl Morrigan leave me at the end of the game. My disc ended up braking, so now I have and excuse to buy the Ultimate Edition. Marked this lense as a like.

    Cool guide, thanks for posting.

    I'm still not sure what specialization I want for my mage. Blood looks cool, but I have lore problems with it. Shape-shifting isn't too appealing because I usually take Morrigan with me. I also don't want to be a healer. :/

    Hi. Im stuck after i got the urn of sacred ashes. I go straight back to redcliffe castle , second floor, and find some one on the bed. Thats the Arl Eamon right?
    How do i use the pinch of sacred ashes on him? Or must i talk to someone else?

    To finish that quest, take the ashes to Bann Teagan, in Redcliffe Castle's main hall.

    hey.. Bann Teagan is not in the castle.. i've searched the whole castle 5 times. i still cant find him. Perhaps i must finish some other task then only he'll appear there?

    He should be in that main area of the castle where you first saw Connor; if he's not there, I'm not sure what might happened. I haven't had him just disappear like that.

    So what do you think i should do? I certainly cant finish the game if i cant cure Arl Eamon..... =( i thought it was a bug or somoething so i re-installed it and kept the save game. But Bann T is still not in the castle.. Could you show me where Bann is standing?

    he is standing in the main hall, if you enter the castle and then go through the courtyard and enter the place he should be in there. i myself have never experienced him just disappearing. so thats really all the info i could give you

    You have to have access to Soldier's Peak, which is DLC or included in the Dragon Age Ultimate edition.

    nice information, I have beaten the game countless times, fighting the big dragon is about the best, using morrigan I killed it the fastest using spells.

    I've seen shale crush birds in the village where you find him. Just make sure he's in your party when you leave and it will jump to a cut-scene where he crushes a bird and then shrugs as if to say "what?"

    at party camp go to dwarf kid and do enchantment. You require a weapon that has slots on it, which can be seen during inventory view, and runes, Good thing is you can change the runes as better ones become available or to be specific in quests. Eg use runes for beasts in the forest, runes for darkspawn in final battle etc.

    you'ra supposed to go to the old grave stones and fight the guys that appear. they drop the armour. there's a video on youtube that tells you where they are.

    the helmet is at the forest near the water falls. the boots and gloves are at the east brecilian forest, (the graves) and the armor is in the ruins. you have to follow the ceremony in the pond and the altar which will open a secret graveyard.

    I found him and everyone dressed in clothes in the hall before you go outside to your heros thank you. He was standing beside Shale who does not look like Shale.If you talk to everyone they will tell you what they are going to do now that everything is cool.

    where does the bedroom key go you get from the blood mage in denerim

    the bedroom key leads to the room right before you get it. inside that room that has used the key there is a chest (if i remember right, it may just be something alread opened) and it is containing "Magister's Sheild"
    Amulet, +6 defence, +4% spell resistance, -10% nature resistance, chace to avoid missle attacks.
    Sorry if i get this wrong, just doing it from memory

    Why can't I get alistair to make me queen at the end? I had a super high rating, and when I chose him to be king after landsmeet he said it would look bad. I'm and elf an a mage. Any ideas?

    You actually have to get approval from the landmeet, and you have to be a human noble... which sort of sucks... other than that you can keep the relationship if you "harden" alistar by doing the quest to find his half sister, but those are the only ways I know of...

    It is not possible for Alister to make an elf his Queen. There is a way for him to keep "visiting" you, and if I remember correctly he needs to be made a much harder person. To do this you have to convince him after he met his sister and while talking about Duncan that people die and the world is cruel. By making him change his views he basically bacomes a different person and will not care if he marries an elf.

    You have to be just about ready to finish the game to get in there! It's right before the landsmeet after you've gathered as many people to join you in the main battle go back to redcliffe and let the arl know. This should get things moving along for you

    lol bioware games in general are the best. dragon age is probably tied for best mideval RPG and i say this only because i wasted countless hours playing oblivion.

    can anyone tell me where the "Ancient Elven Boots are?" I know the helm and armor are in the ruins in the forest.. gloves in the ruins w/ the ashes.. but where are the dang boots?

    There was a bug in wich the boots never got added, if you have dragon age on computer you can simply download them as a mod, ps anyone going to buy this game, get it for computer. so much modding going on i have 2 new companions, new dungeons new custom designed items, plus many overide files that make alot of things better... Auto loot, Nude bodies, more killing blows landed, corpses dont decay... really the way to go.

    i found them in lothering, after u beat the bandits at the beginnign when u get there, go to the chantery, and tlk to a templer ( cant remember which one ) but if u say the correct things u get a key to go into a lockd cabnit in the chantery which has the boots

    whoa...i guess broodmother is the ugliest enemy i ever seen in the game....but its easy to defeat it...i only have leliana, oghren and wynne...very easy

    To add runes, talk to the dwarves at camp. The merchant's son (standing beside him) can handle that for you.

    when you are able to travel from place to place in ferelden... top right on the map go to the CAMPSITE... there you can equip and tweek everyone and the 2 dwarves the merchant and SANDAL.. are there... go to SANDAL and the moron will say. "ENCHANMENT?" and choose that option...
