Sir knight
A knight in Middle Ages was a member of a state called chivalry, taking its roots in Antic Roman equestrian order (that means horsemen or cavalry). So the word "knight" means "a noble warrior mounted on a horse".
Knights were supposed to "protect the weak, defenseless, helpless, and fight for the general welfare of all" as the chivalry code states.
There are eights virtues that should characterize a knight. He should:
- Live in truth
- Have faith
- Repent
- Be meek
- Love justice
- Be honest and generous
- Endure oppression
