Building and Training Pets in DragonFable

DragonFable gives players an opportunity to "build" and train pets. Currently, the only trainable pet is the penguin, Linus. Players can also capture a red imp or build a mechanical tog.

For purposes of simplicity, the baby dragon is not considered a pet but rather a companion.

1: Mechanical Togs 

The next best thing to organic.

Raw materials needed: Scrap Metal and Battle Core or Enchanted Battle Core.

Where to find materials:
Scrap Metal and Battle Core: Quest from Dr. Voltabolt.
Enchanted Battle Core: Cysero's Shop in Falconreach, costs 25 Dragon Coins.

Where to merge/ create/ upgrade items: Dr. Voltabolt, special challenge, Falconreach (Ash quest).

Clockwork Tog Pet, Lvl 10, Rarity 8
Materials needed: 40 Scrap Metal and a Battle Core
Damage: 4-13 (8 Avg) Metal, Crit +1

Steam Tog Pet, Lvl 10, Rarity 8
Materials needed: 40 Scrap Metal and an Enchanted Battle Core
Damage: 6-13 (9 Avg) Metal or Fire, Crit +?

RoboTog Pet, Lvl 20, Rarity 8
Materials needed: 100 Scrap Metal and a Battle Core
Damage: 5-16 (10 Avg) Metal, Crit +2

PowerTog Pet, Lvl 20, Rarity 8
Materials needed: 100 Scrap Metal and an Enchanted Battle Core
Damage: 8-16 (12 Avg) Metal or Fire, Crit +?

2: Captured Red Imp 

A little creepy but strong in battle.

Raw materials needed: Defender's medals, which are obtained during special events.

Where to merge/ create/ upgrade items: Sir Render in the Town Hall in Falconreach.

Current Red Imp, Level 12 (DA), Rarity 3
Materials needed: 75 Defender Medals
Damage: 6-15 (10 Avg) Darkness, Crit +2

Older Version, Level 8 (fights like level 12, DA), Rarity 3
Materials needed: 75 Defender Medals
Damage: 6-12 (9 Avg) Darkness, Crit +2

Description:
This rare imp pet was captured on the Friday the 13th invasion of the undead.
It has a bad temper and will only obey one who controls the power of a Dragon Amulet.

Red Imp II Pet, Lvl 15, Rarity 4
Materials needed: 75 Defenders Medals and 1 Red Imp
Damage: 7-16 (11 AVG) Darkness, Crit +3

3: Jimmy the Eye 

For farsighted adventurers.

Raw materials needed: Defender's medals, which are obtained during special events.

Where to merge/ create/ upgrade items: Sir Render in the Town Hall in Falconreach.

Jimmy the Eye, Level 8 (DA), Rarity 5
Materials needed: 100 Defender Medals
Damage: 6-11 (8 Avg) Wind, Crit +1, CHA +2

Jimmy the Eye II, Level 12 (DA), Rarity 5
Materials needed: 75 Defender Medals and Jimmy the Eye
Damage: 8-13 (10 Avg) Wind, Crit +1, CHA +2

4: Training Linus 

The most annoying pet in the battle arena.

Raw materials needed: Linus and Royal Pengiun Shrink Ray.

Where to find materials:
Linus is for sale in the pet shop in Falconreach for 300 gold (Level 3).

Royal Pengiun Shrink Ray is available in Cysero's Shop in Falconreach and costs 45 Dragon Coins (Level 1).

The Shrink Ray is also a random item drop in the Boxopolis, Sneevil-Jitsu Dojo, and the Defend the Keep quests. These quests are available in Oaklore from Sir Valance.

Where to merge/ create/ upgrade items: Pet shop in Falconreach under "Pet Upgrades" from Grams.

Prince Linus Pet, Lvl 9, Rarity 9
Materials needed: 1 Linus and 1 Royal Penguin Shrink Ray
Damage: 1-10 (5 Avg) Ice, Crit +2, Special Shrink Attack does 10% opponent's HP in damage.

King Linus Pet, Lvl 19, Rarity 19
Materials needed: 1 Prince Linus and 1 Royal Penguin Shrink Ray
Damage: 1-16 (8 Avg) Ice, Crit +3, Special Shrink Attack does 10% opponent's HP in damage.

Emporer Linus Pet, Lvl 29, Rarity 29
Materials needed: 1 King Linus and 1 Royal Penguin Shrink Ray
Damage: 5-20 (12 Avg) Ice, Crit +4, Special Shrink Attack does 10% opponent's HP in damage.
