Draik Online and Offline

Well, not many people knew that I have the urge to jump off from a plane whenever I take one. The feeling was just great and you will want to do it again and again and again.

My first and only experience was when I was traveling in Queenstown in Southern New Zealand with a friend. We were hesitating if we should do it or not right in front of the shop. We finally went into the shop, paid up and fill up some form just before the shop close. When we were driven in a van to some country side where we are suppose to board an aircraft and jumped right off from it.

We were gave a set of "wind suit" which we have to put them on. They have a bit of problem looking for a hat for me because my head was too small for their adult size. They finally decided to let me wear a bigger kid size hat.

After some instruction from our own instructor, we board the plane and jump off from 12,000 feet above. I wish the weather was good enough for a 15,000 feet jump but it was not.

After the jump, while waiting for our van to arrive, we were both laughing at each other in front of the TV where they feature our jump. It was a fun experience and I think everybody should give it a try.

I might jump again but this time, I want to do it with my son.

I quit my job before my wedding because I need a break badly. I did not realize that my break was so long. I have been thinking seriously about going back to the rat race in 2010 when the recession will be over (hopefully).

I love my job actually. I love to design houses, schools, apartments and anything that has to do with residential. My boss will throw me a piece of site plan and I will have to work from there, meet the clients and do everything until completion. I was the one who pick up the calls (hate it), design, draft, meet clients, hold meetings, write minutes, get everyone to work, deal with the authorities and everything except washing the toilet and signing the papers.

After quiting for almost 5 years, I will have to attend some courses to brush up my autocad and 3D studio skills and read up some regulations and codes before looking for a job. My mom has been telling me to do some else since I graduate and when I told her about my plans yesterday (24 Feb 2009), she said the same thing.

I love to make things. I had made beanbag chairs, a few curtains, a number of bags, dressed up my cabinets and more stuffs. Here are some of my projects.

My glasses are wearing out and I am thinking if I should change a pair of glasses or should I go for lasik surgery. I have actually put lasik surgery as one of my 2009 goal, or task to be completed. However, I am still procrastinating about it.

I am scare of cockroaches, worms, centipedes, millipedes, lizards. I am scare even when they are dead. It is a good thing that I have 2 cats in the house to keep these pest away.

My mom told me that. My baby pictures do look like a baby boy too. However, when I grow a bit older, I look completely like a girl. A lot of people actually commented that my look did not change much since I was 5 year old.

However, I do not like fruit tea because they are sweet. The sweetness in fruit tea and black tea are different.

I will have to add 3 bags of sugar to my mug of tea, or 2 bags of sugar to a cup of tea.

I tried to limit myself to one mug of tea per day as too much caffeine is not good for the body.

My favorite tea is Lipton.

I have been to quite a few places, mainly different parts of Asia. I have been to Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea and Japan. I have not touches on European countries and United States because they are too far and expensive for me. However, I am hoping that I will go to these places before I die.

I started creating Squidoo lenses with the intention to promote my online store, Keepsake Arts. However, it did not take me long to get addicted it Squidoo.

I have deleted my very first lens because it was too general and I have got no idea what to write. My second lens was about Cat Toilet Training.

I am not good at languages. I can score very well in other subjects such as math and science and do badly for both my English and Chinese languages. Well, English language was considered to be one of the important subjects and I score a D7 on my O Level.

I did get into the course that I wanted in polytechnic. However, if I have score a bit better in my English, I will have more choices and maybe I might be something else today.

My parents wanted me to retake my English O level exams. I registered for the retake but did not go for the exams. My parents were so mad at me at that time.

I realize that I love yoga and have been doing yoga once a week since 2009. My main purpose of doing Yoga is that I want to keep myself healthy for as long as possible. I always feel so good after a yoga session that I felt like signing up for another yoga session so that I can stretch my body twice a week. Another option is to buy some yoga VCD and practice it at home. I can stretch my body everyday if I have the time and is not too lazy.

I have started Keepsake Arts on 27 May 2005. I love Cafepress because I get most of my earnings from there. This is my very first online shop and it is getting very very big. I have got more than 6000 designs out there.

I love Zazzle too because their gallery/shop is free. My first Zazzle shop was All About Ties, created on 11 August 2008. I have a few galleries with Zazzle and I am planning to expand and open more shops with Zazzle in 2009. One of my 2009 goal will be to work with Zazzle until it can earn as much as what I earn from Cafepress.
