To draw a skull we have to draw a simple shape to mark out our skull design, a simple oval shape works well like in the video below. You'll find that when drawing a skull there are many ways to approach the matter of drawing to your own style.Some ways of drawing a skull could include drawing the eyes first and then drawing the rest of the skull around the eyes, this is ok, if you know how to draw a skull in the first place and so this method may require a bit of practice. Always try and look at a few realistic reference photos of a real skull, human at first, so you can capture the base features of a typical skull and work from there.
You'll find that once you draw one skull you can draw many different variations, such as animal skulls which require more studying of animal skull reference photos which is useful to also create imaginary skull forms too. Exaggeration is a good method to create some cool looking skulls.
